Our client is a
leading global cybersecurity product company
that is expanding its engineering team in Tokyo. They are building high-performance, cloud-native security technologies and are looking for a
Senior Rust Developer
with strong full-stack capabilities.
If you're passionate about cybersecurity, large-scale distributed systems and high-impact product engineering, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and intuitive front-end interfaces
- Build data ingestion & processing pipelines for large volumes of security data
- Integrate AI-driven analytics and optimize system performance
- Develop APIs and integrations with enterprise IT/security tools
- Implement robust security measures aligned with industry standards
- Troubleshoot complex, cross-stack technical issues
Requirements:
- 5+ years full-stack development experience
- 3 to 5+ years professional Rust development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong foundations in: CS fundamentals, cybersecurity, networking
Experience with:
- Cloud platforms & microservices
- Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- SQL & NoSQL databases
- Real-time data processing & analytics
- Data pipelines (Kafka, ELK stack, Vector)
- High-throughput, low-latency distributed systems
Familiarity with Go, Java, or C++ is a plus
Fluent English
- Must be based in Tokyo

- Must have experience in software product companies
- Note: Candidates from very large enterprise environments that don't work on core products are typically not a fit.
