■ Job Title: Platform Engineer
■ Company Overview
Recently provide CashFlow Card, give users with more accessible and convenient fintech services that were previously not possible with credit cards and credit services by integrating with the CashFlow payment platform. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about refining our products at an overwhelming speed that no other company can match, and promoting the spread of cashless payments in Japan and the financial life platform that uses them.
■ Your Role and Responsibilities
Design and construct a robust, scalable, and stable infrastructure.
Develop infrastructure that is easily maintainable during patching and upgrades.
Implement infrastructure with AWS regional level failure tolerance.
Collaborate with Security Engineers to provision secure infrastructure.
Develop automations for AWS deployments to ensure rapid delivery of cloud services to developers.
Provide automated means for developers to easily deploy resources on AWS.
Tech Stack:
AWS: VPC, EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, CloudFront, MWAA, RDS, ElastiCache, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, S3, CloudWatch, Cognito, SQS, KMS, Secret Manager, MSK, CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, and other services.
Terraform, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Atlantis, ArgoCD, OpenTelemetry.
■ Experience and Qualifications
Over 5 years of technical experience in cloud-based infrastructure platforms.
Demonstrated ownership in a production environment.
Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and payment industry compliance standards.
Experience in availability, performance, and cost management of cloud infrastructure and platform systems.
Extensive hands-on technical experience with computing, storage, and analytical services on AWS.
Proficiency in IAC tools in AWS such as Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK.
Experience in Linux internals and system administration.
Familiarity with cloud services monitoring, detection, and response.
Experience in cloud services performance tuning, cost controls, and management.
Experience in cloud infrastructure service patching and upgrades.
Excellent oral, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology-related field.
Experience with other cloud service providers (e.g., GCP, Azure).
Experience using and contributing to open-source tools.
Published papers/blogs/articles in relevant domains.
Relevant and verifiable certifications.
Bilingual in English and Japanese is beneficial, proficiency in either language is acceptable.
Japanese: JLPT N3 or above.
