■ Job Title: Database Engineer
■ Company Overview
Recently provide CashFlow Card, give users with more accessible and convenient fintech services that were previously not possible with credit cards and credit services by integrating with the CashFlow payment platform. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about refining our products at an overwhelming speed that no other company can match, and promoting the spread of cashless payments in Japan and the financial life platform that uses them.
■ Your Role and Responsibilities
• Oversee database operations encompassing monitoring, configuration management, upgrades, scaling, backups, and data migration.
• Continuously iterate on database operations to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot stability and performance issues as they arise.
• Contribute to documentation aimed at sharing knowledge, experiences, and facilitating effective decision-making processes.
• Conduct research and testing of new tools within the database ecosystem, and implement them within the infrastructure when appropriate.

• Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence
■ Experience and Qualifications
• Possess over 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA), with at least 3 years of expertise in ORACLE or MySQL environments.
• Accumulate more than 3 years of experience working with AWS.
• Demonstrate hands-on proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
• Display a keen interest in adopting new technologies and dedicated to enhancing operational quality and efficiency.
• Proficient in shell scripting and programming languages such as Python.
• Fluent in English for business communication.
■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
• Proficient in automating operations pertaining to Databases or AWS.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience in managing AWS Aurora databases (MySQL compatible).
• Hands-on experience in managing AWS RDS for Oracle.
• Japanese conversational is advantageous.
