Amazon services for third-party sellers allow companies to list and sell products on Amazon. Since its launch in 2007, many companies have used this service, and its popularity continues to grow. To achieve Amazon's mission of offering the most diverse product selection, it is essential to have more sellers list their products.
As part of our efforts to improve the delivery experience for customers and reduce service costs for sellers, we are launching a new service for sellers who handle their own logistics. We are now recruiting account managers with experience in business development and customer engagement to help launch this new service.
Account managers will be responsible for proposing and implementing the new service to large sellers, managing relationships with these sellers, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth rollout.
- Manage relationships with large sellers who will adopt the new service.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement the new service.
- Visit large sellers to assess their interest in adopting the new service.
- Manage accounts for large sellers who have adopted the new service and troubleshoot any issues.
- Use sales management tools to track and analyze key performance indicators.
- Onboard new team members.
A typical day for an account manager might include:
- 10:00: Team sync-up.
- 11:00: Online meeting with target seller.
- 12:00: Lunch.
- 13:00: Online meeting with managed seller.
- 14:00: Sync up with internal stakeholders.
- 15:00: Visit to target seller.
- 17:00: Update sales management tool.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in client or vendor-facing roles with a focus on relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Japanese.
- Basic English skills, including written and verbal communication.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in business development or program launch.
- 3+ years of project management experience with multiple stakeholders.
- Self-motivation and ability to work in ambiguous situations.
- Forward-thinking and positive mindset.
