Job Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute tailored business and market penetration strategies for Japan to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- Cultivate and manage strategic alliances with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, system integrators and fleet operators.
- Identify customer needs and deliver customized video telematics and AI-powered safety solutions.
- Lead, coach and develop the Japan local team to boost business performance and member professional advancement.
- Enhance the company's brand visibility in Japan via targeted marketing, industry events and government/industry engagement.
- Ensure full alignment between Japan's local operations and the company's regional and global strategic priorities.
Job Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Japan, with 5+ years in team or business leadership roles.
- Demonstrate bilingual proficiency, with fluent Japanese and business-level English or Mandarin for official communications.
- Act as an inspirational leader who empowers teams to overcome challenges and serves as a role model for company values.
- Maintain an open mindset, adapt to dynamic changes and commit to continuous learning in fast-paced business environments.
- Hold an engineering, technical or automotive-related academic or professional background (preferred).
- Have proven experience in value-based/consultative sales, multinational collaboration or new business launch/scaling in Japan.
