Role Overview
As
Country Manager, Japan
, you will lead Streamax's business development, operations, and overall market strategy in Japan. This is a
strategic leadership role
reporting directly to the
APAC Regional Head
, with full responsibility for market growth, P&L, partner ecosystem development, and team leadership in Japan. You will serve as the key bridge between the global organization and the Japanese market, shaping the long-term growth trajectory of Streamax in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Streamax's business and go-to-market strategy for Japan to achieve sustained growth and profitability.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, system integrators, and fleet operators.
- Identify customer needs and deliver customized video telematics and AI-driven safety solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Japan team, driving both business performance and professional growth.
- Strengthen Streamax's brand awareness in Japan through marketing, events, and government or industry engagement.
- Ensure full alignment between Japan's local operations and Streamax's regional and global strategic directions.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Japan (e.g., Japanese citizenship or permanent residency).
- Experience:
Minimum
10 years of professional experience in Japan
, including
5+ years in team or business leadership
roles. - Cultural Agility:
Deep understanding of Japanese business culture, capable of integrating Streamax's corporate values with Japanese business practices. - Language:
Bilingual proficiency
