Role Summary:

Our client is a growing startup that offers Rewarded Ad Offer Wall solutions. They are seeking a senior executive to lead their market entry and expansion efforts in Japan. This role will be responsible for setting local strategy, driving commercial success, and establishing the organizational foundation in the region. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in digital monetization, mobile platforms, and cross-functional team leadership within the Japanese market.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Expansion & Localization:

  • Provide Executives with guidance on trends in mobile engagement and monetization within the Japanese market.

  • Collaborate with centralized product and engineering teams to ensure regional relevance and competitive differentiation.

  • Help shape the go-to-market approach and refine positioning based on local market intelligence.

Commercial Growth & Strategic Partnerships:

  • Identify and onboard new advertisers and publishers.

  • Develop market growth strategies to accelerate adoption and revenue growth in Japan.

  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders to enhance brand credibility and market presence.

Team Formation & Operational Leadership:

  • Hire, develop, and mentor a lean team in Japan.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation aligned with the global mission.

  • Serve as a senior leader driving both high-level initiatives and daily execution.

External Representation & Industry Engagement:

  • Act as the local spokesperson for the business, representing the client at relevant industry events and meetings.

  • Strengthen visibility and thought leadership within the mobile app industry while strengthening relationships with advertisers, publishers, and key industry players.
