Position Overview
The Country Manager, Japan will play a key role in expanding ByteBridge's presence, driving long-term business growth, and ensuring excellence in systems integration delivery. This role combines market development, vendor partnerships, customer engagement, and operational leadership to position ByteBridge as a preferred solutions provider in Japan.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Market Expansion
- Define and execute Japan's growth strategy in alignment with ByteBridge's global direction.
- Build new customer relationships and deepen existing ones, especially within enterprise IT, financial services, and technology sectors.
- Establish strong partnerships with hyperscalers, Japanese OEMs, and key technology vendors to strengthen solution offerings.
Operational Leadership
- Oversee full project delivery cycles including solutioning, system integration, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations while upholding ByteBridge's global quality standards.
- Manage the Japan P&L, focusing on revenue growth, profitability, and effective resource planning.
Team & Culture Building
- Recruit and lead a local SI-focused team across sales, presales, and delivery.
- Build a culture that prioritizes customer success, technical innovation, and high performance.
- Mentor and develop local leaders to support long-term expansion in Japan.
Strategic Engagement
- Represent ByteBridge at industry events, SI forums, and within the vendor ecosystem.
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to influence APAC and global strategy.
- Partner closely with regional and global teams on cross-border initiatives and multi-country projects.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in systems integration, IT services, or enterprise technology within Japan.
- Proven leadership in P&L ownership, market development, and large-scale project delivery.
- Strong relationships with Japanese enterprises, OEMs, and channel partners.
- Native Japanese proficiency with business-level English.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to scale a growing SI business.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or Business.
