Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the business strategy for Japan in alignment with SolaX's global objectives.
  • Drive revenue, profitability, and market share growth across residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and utility-scale product lines.
  • Build and lead the local Japanese team, including sales, technical, service, and channel management functions.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage distributors, EPCs, installers, and key accounts throughout Japan.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing partners while developing new business channels and strategic alliances.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and policy trends to provide actionable insights for business planning.
  • Collaborate closely with global and regional teams in product management, marketing, logistics, and service to ensure localization and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee product certification, compliance, and grid-connection requirements for all SolaX Power products in Japan.
  • Represent SolaX Power at trade shows, industry conferences, and partner events to enhance brand visibility and market influence.
  • Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring accurate pipeline and performance tracking.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the renewable-energy or power-electronics industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of business development and sales success in Japan's solar or energy-storage market.
  • Solid understanding of Japan's energy landscape, regulatory framework, and incentive mechanisms.
  • Experience managing distribution networks, EPCs, and key-account relationships.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Native-level Japanese
    required; proficiency in
    Chinese or English
    is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Japan and
    occasionally to China Headquarters
    .

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience launching or scaling international brands in the Japanese renewable-energy market.
  • Familiarity with certification and grid standards (JET, SII, VCCI, etc.).
  • Strategic mindset with proven ability to manage P&L and deliver business growth.
