JOB TITLE: Logistics Secondary Supply Chain Assistant Executive

Function: Operation

Sub Function: Logistics

Report to: Warehouse Operations Manager

Work Location: Tokyo, Japan

ROLE SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage and execute established inventory plans effectively and efficiently. Check the consistency between the inventory quantity stored in the warehouse and the system inventory, and if there is a problem, we immediately report it to our superiors and ask for instructions.

In communicating with internal departments, community-related departments, factory-related departments, and external stakeholders, we are required to always focus on building good relationships and contributing to business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and execute delivery order from external customer in line with cycle plan to fulfil the replenishment of stock
  • Execute and properly manage distribution registration (Bonded warehouse and wholesale distribution)
  • Manage cost spending
  • Analyse and identify control of slow moving, obsolete and redundant stock for effective stock management
  • Manage and ensure that monthly payments for customer are made.
  • Execute MOF registration for NPI/Pricing/Source change etc .
  • Manage Tobacco excise payment against HY, FY shipment target
  • Manage Local excise payment process (sample shipment)
  • Monitor / Report FG stock duration
  • Manage repacking material stock.
  • Manage Free of charge sample shipment in line with stock availability.
  • Execute SAP transaction (SO,GR,Gi )
  • Properly reporting to WH Operation and distribution manager
  • STAKEHOLDERS

  • Internal Work closely with operations and SC team members to ensure customer fulfilment as per the business demandMaintain close liaison with the trade marketing & brand marketing teamMain contact will be the WH Operation Manager for the overall supply plan Direct connection with logistics function to ensure flawless shipment and order fulfilment
  • ExternalWholesale & Warehouse OperatorFreight Forwarder & Shipping Companies Ministry of FinanceCustom Office3rd party vendor for logistics operation. Liaise with Finance team
  • LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT / BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES

  • Motivate to be a team player of supply chain improvement projects by understanding ways to improve the existing processes.
  • Set the own job direction & strategy that is closely aligned with the organization's business plan in conjunction with improvement of day-to-day operations, while ensuring cost effective manner
  • Continuously manage self-development and improve leadership capabilities
  • Lead contractors be active/contributable to achieve successful warehouse management
  • QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduated Bachelor's degree
  • Experienced in SCM industrial or knowledge of supply chain & MRP
  • Fluent Japanese, Conversational English
  • Knowledge of ERP System (SAP Material Management module)
  • Sound understanding of inventory management and material control processes
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Teamwork, initiative, self-motivated, good and clear communication skills
  • Cost conscious and analytical ability
