About the Role


This is a critical role for managing the performance of Sales Development reps, responsible for driving business growth and revenue through high-quality meetings and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach a team of Sales Development reps to successfully book business for the company's GTM efforts
  • Monitor and manage all KPIs, including calls, emails sent, and meetings booked
  • Represent the front line of the company's GTM efforts, playing a key role in growing the business
  • Develop the sales process and help define the strategy for the team's success
  • Responsibility for hiring and onboarding new team members
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training to ensure positive growth and skill development
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders within Similarweb and the wider industry
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful sales meetings
  • Conduct regular analysis to understand the root cause of team performance and identify actions to accelerate growth

Requirements

  • Fluent in Japanese and English
  • Knowledgeable in the Japanese Market
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales development and/or sales
  • 1-2 years of experience as a manager
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, with inbound and outbound experience preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in B2B SaaS companies
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Previous experience in a sales-related function
  • Previous and demonstrable experience developing leads (Outbound or Inbound)
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce)
  • Experience with Salesloft or similar tools (Preferred)
  • Additional languages are an advantage
  • Familiarity with SaaS is an advantage
  • Experience working closely with different functions in your organization
