Ahead Staffing is seeking a talented Front End Developer to join one of our global E-Commerce clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features with modern JavaScript frameworks, especially
- Build reusable front-end components and libraries for future use, optimizing for performance and scalability.
- Implement state management solutions like Redux or Zustand to manage complex UI states.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and efficiency across a variety of devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write and maintain unit tests using frameworks like Jest and Vite, and perform E2E testing with Cypress or Playwright.
- Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance using tools like Jenkins and AWS CodeBuild.
- Stay up-to-date with modern front-end technologies and ECMAScript standards, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Assist in migrating existing applications to the React framework, improving maintainability and performance.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (especially ).
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript for building scalable applications.
- Experience with state management tools like Redux or Zustand.
- Solid understanding of testing frameworks, including Jest, Vite, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Strong grasp of ECMAScript standards, modern JavaScript features, and best practices.
- Familiarity with security practices in front-end development, such as CSP, XSS, CSRF, and JWT.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and AWS CodeBuild.
- Ability to migrate legacy systems to modern front-end frameworks like React.
- Comfortable using Docker and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap or MUI.
Desired Skills
- Experience deploying front-end applications to AWS S3.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and AWS services.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for large-scale web applications.
