Ahead Staffing is seeking a Front-End Web Developer to build scalable and cutting-edge systems. The role involves translating UI/UX designs into code, leading projects, and collaborating with designers and engineers. Key requirements include 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript, along with skills in unit testing, Linux, and software management. Strong problem-solving and architecture design abilities are desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes into actual code to create the visual elements of the application.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and other engineers to bridge the gap between graphical design, user requirements, and technical implementation.
  • Lead projects or teams as a senior engineer through design, development, testing, and operation of new user-facing features for large-scale e-commerce systems.
  • Make technical decisions in complex circumstances.
  • Build reusable, flexible, and high-performance code and libraries for future use.
  • Contribute fresh ideas to the team for system improvements (e.g., refactoring, adopting new technologies, optimizing JS performance).
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Experience leading development teams, projects, or as a tech lead.
  • 5+ years of front-end development experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Front-end development experience using React, Redux, and TypeScript.
  • Experience working with Web APIs (REST, JSON, CORS).
  • Understanding of and experience with parallel and asynchronous processing (AJAX, Promise, WebWorkers, WebSockets).
  • Investigation and operational experience on Linux.
  • Software configuration management experience (version control [Git], build management Jenkins).
  • Experience developing and maintaining unit tests and integration tests.
  • Strong documentation skills (design documents, test cases).
  • Experience with coding and reviewing with a focus on performance, maintainability, and security.
  • Effective communication skills in English.

Desired Skills:

  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to identify challenges, propose solutions, and execute actions.
  • Experience using ESLint.
  • Experience with JavaScript unit testing (Jest, Intern, WDIO).
  • Ability to design front-end architecture from scratch.
  • DevOps experience (investigation, analysis, and system maintenance).
