Ahead Staffing is seeking a motivated Front-End Web Developer for one of our Global E-Commerce clients. The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about combining design with programming to deliver innovative, scalable, and high-performance web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and visual designs into interactive and visually appealing front-end code.
- Understand business requirements, and deliver features with high quality and speed.
- Develop new user-facing features for large-scale e-commerce systems, ensuring that they are high-quality, maintainable, and efficient.
- Work as frontend engineer from design, develop, test, and operate new user-facing features for large scale e-commerce systems , make technical decision under complex circumstance
- Build reusable, flexible and perform code and libraries for future use, bring new/fresh ideas to the team to perform system improvement (e.g.refactoring, adopting appropriate technologies & system architecture, optimizing the JS performance with a proper optimization).
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Front-End Development: At least 5 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- React/Redux/TypeScript: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience using these technologies to build dynamic web applications.
- Web API Integration: Experience with consuming and integrating Web APIs (REST, JSON, CORS).
- Asynchronous Programming: Solid understanding and experience with parallel and asynchronous processing (AJAX, Promise, WebWorkers, WebSockets).
- Linux: Operational experience with Linux systems for debugging and management.
- Version Control & Build Management: Experience with Git and Jenkins for version control and continuous integration.
- Testing: Experience in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
- Documentation: Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and test cases.
- Coding Best Practices: A strong commitment to writing high-quality, maintainable, secure, and efficient code.
- Communication: Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective team collaboration. (Japanese language skills not required).
Desired Skills:
- Leadership: Over 3 years of experience in leading development teams or projects, or serving as a tech lead.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Ability to independently identify challenges and suggest and implement solutions.
- ESLint: Experience with code linting and ensuring coding standards.
- Unit Testing in JavaScript: Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like Jest, Intern, or WDIO.
- Front-End Architecture: Experience designing front-end architectures from scratch.
- DevOps Knowledge: Understanding of system operation, analysis, and improvements.
