Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in Tokyo, Japan, for a Back End Developer. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain the server-side logic supporting applications, ensuring efficient and scalable data processing and system integration. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, troubleshoot and optimize back-end performance, and implement APIs to enhance functionality across platforms. Responsibilities also include maintaining data security and system integrity while adhering to best practices in software development.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
- Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming principles
- Exposure to Front-End Development and experience working with front-end teams
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms and database management is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in Japanese and English preferred
