This is a full-time on-site position located in Tokyo, Japan, for a Back End Developer.
In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain the server-side logic supporting applications, ensuring efficient and scalable data processing and system integration.
You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, troubleshoot and optimize back-end performance, and implement APIs to enhance functionality across platforms.
Responsibilities also include maintaining data security and system integrity while adhering to best practices in software development.Qualifications
Strong expertise in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming principles
Exposure to Front-End Development and experience working with front-end teams
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient solutions
Experience with cloud platforms and database management is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with Agile methodologies
Proficiency in Japanese and English preferred
