Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Presales EAM Solution Specialist to join our Tokyo team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Enterprise Asset Management processes and technologies, along with exceptional communication and presentation skills. As a Presales EAM Solution Specialist, you will play a vital role in driving sales by effectively showcasing the capabilities and advantages of our EAM solutions to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In this position, you will champion our customers, using your technical, industry, and business knowledge to meet their requirements efficiently.
  • Employ a consultative approach to value-driven sales to gain a deep understanding of customers' business and technical needs.
  • Establish a 'trusted technical advisor' relationship with customers' technical teams and internal colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to comprehend customer needs and develop tailored EAM solutions to address them.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our EAM solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on EAM technologies, staying informed of industry trends to advise clients effectively.
  • Assist in creating proposals, RFP responses, and sales materials that align with customer needs and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, serving as a trusted advisor throughout and beyond the sales process.
  • Work closely with various teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to clients.
  • Continually gather market intelligence and competitor insights to shape product development and sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Demonstrated track record with a minimum of 3 years of experience in presales, business consulting, or IT consulting, particularly in plant maintenance within EAM.
  • In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management processes and technologies, covering various aspects like maintenance management, asset tracking, and predictive maintenance.
  • Experience in the utility industry (generation, transmission, and distribution) is advantageous.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to different audiences.
  • Proficient in delivering impactful product demonstrations and leading engaging workshops.
  • Apt in handling high-pressure environments and managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in EAM-relevant software applications and tools, including EAM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications in Enterprise Asset Management technologies are desirable, such as IBM Maximo or SAP EAM.
