Solution Architect - Financial Industry
In this role, you will be working with major financial groups collaborating on AWS at a business level, along with clients in banking, trust, securities, life insurance, cards, and leasing among other financial services. Your responsibilities will involve cloud transformation of existing operations, channel innovations such as Open API, Voice Banking, next-gen contact centers, and leveraging machine learning like AI for new business opportunities, innovative UI/UX, data utilization, all while combining over 240 AWS services to architect and support their realization.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Supporting clients' cloud journeys as a technical partner for Japanese financial institutions
- Working with multiple financial institutions in sales, Professional Service, specialist SA services, and financial business development
- Architecting digital transformations for clients
- Resolving technical challenges related to clients' cloud migrations
- Promoting innovative cloud utilization internally and externally
- Providing client feedback to service teams for continuous improvement of AWS services
About the team:
The Financial Solutions Architect team is dedicated to supporting clients in the financial industry that contribute to the Japanese economy. As cloud adoption expands in areas like accounting systems and cutting-edge technologies such as AI and big data analysis, being a reliable partner with solid technical expertise is crucial for clients stepping into new technological frontiers.
We continuously accumulate knowledge and experience regarding cloud and modern system architectures as we face diverse challenges alongside our clients. Working as technical advisors, we aim to earn the trust of our clients from various backgrounds and support them in achieving successful business transformations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Over 10 years of experience in presales, application development, or infrastructure construction, including at least 3 years in leadership roles
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients in Japanese and explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
- Foundational knowledge in system construction, including Linux, Windows, servers, storage, networks, databases, middleware, programming languages, frameworks, and development methodologies
- Knowledge and experience in modern IT architectures
- Ability to read emails and manuals in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leading large projects in financial institutions or with financial institutions as clients
- Experience as an architect, presales, or consultant in vendor companies or major system integrators
- Leadership experience in large projects utilizing cloud technology
- Knowledge of banking, life insurance, and other sectors in the financial industry
