Job Description
We are looking for a talented Presales Specialist focused on Supply Chain, Procurement, and Financial Solutions to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our Presales team by engaging with potential clients, understanding their requirements, and showcasing how our solutions can effectively address their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to comprehend client needs related to supply chain, procurement, and financial processes.
- Work with BDR and marketing teams to develop event content, participate in events as a speaker or exhibitor, and support demand generation initiatives.
- Conduct detailed discovery sessions with potential clients to gather insights on their workflows, pain points, and goals.
- Create and deliver customized presentations and demos of our solutions to highlight their value and alignment with client needs.
- Stay updated on product features and roadmap developments by collaborating with product management and engineering teams.
- Assist in preparing proposals, RFP responses, and other sales materials to aid the sales process.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including proposals, solution briefs, and case studies.
- Offer product training and support to sales teams for effective solution positioning.
- Act as a subject matter expert on supply chain, procurement, and financial processes, industry trends, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in presales or consulting, preferably within the supply chain, procurement, or financial software industry.
- Expertise in supply chain management, procurement processes, and financial workflows.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Hands-on experience in conducting product demonstrations and delivering engaging presentations to clients.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client challenges efficiently.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 20-30%) to meet clients and support sales activities.
- Fluency in English and comfortable communicating with international colleagues.
Additional Information
- Knowledge of Japanese financial regulations and business environment is advantageous.
- Experience with financial software such as SAP, Oracle, or Japanese local financial packages, and tools related to supply chain, procurement, project management, and sub-contracting is beneficial.
- Certification in supply chain management, procurement, or finance (e.g., APICS, CSCP, CIPS, CFA) is a plus.
