We are seeking a
proficient Japanese–English Translator
to support our ongoing
IT Audit activities
. The ideal candidate will have strong bilingual communication skills and experience translating technical IT documents, interpreting during meetings, and ensuring seamless communication between English- and Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate
technical IT documents
, reports, and audit-related materials from Japanese ⇄ English - Provide
real-time interpretation
during audit meetings, discussions, and walkthroughs - Ensure clear, accurate communication between the audit team and Japanese-speaking personnel
- Review and refine translated content for clarity, accuracy, and technical correctness
- Support auditors with cultural/linguistic context when needed
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of translation tasks
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in
Japanese & English (Native-level or near-native fluency)
Experience translating
technical or IT-related documents
Strong understanding of IT terminology, system documentation, and audit processes (preferred)
Prior experience supporting
IT audits, audits, or consulting projects
(preferred but not mandatory)
Excellent listening, communication, and interpretation skills
Ability to work with global teams and meet deadlines
