Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to play a key role in our Japan office expansion. As part of our global Talent Acquisition team, this strategic position will be critical in identifying and recruiting top talent across multiple disciplines.
You will work closely with the local leadership team to design effective sourcing initiatives, ensuring robust selection and assessment processes are in place. With overall responsibility for driving pipeline generation for our Japan office, you will be passionate about candidate experience and proactive in promoting our employer brand across the local market via various channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies for Japan, collaborating with the Talent Acquisition manager and stakeholders to understand and deliver on talent acquisition needs.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across business groups, providing talent acquisition solutions to fulfill business needs efficiently and effectively.
- Design proactive sourcing strategies and build talent pools for key areas in alignment with hiring needs.
- Execute effective interviews and selections, leveraging various tools to improve the quality of hires through a strong interview process.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust recruitment and selection processes, tools, and reporting, ensuring recruiting process compliance.
- Develop and lead recruitment marketing, Employer Branding campaigns, and Campus Programs to align with local practices.
- Analyze recruiting data and metrics to derive insights and make informed decisions in recruitment strategy and planning to drive operation model and process efficiency, innovation, and quality.
- Partner with the HRBP team to support the onboarding and offboarding process of local employees in Japan.
- Support Japan people projects related to retention, engagement, performance management, and our Third Bridge culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in successfully managing the recruiting process in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to full-lifecycle recruiting, including req consultation, direct sourcing, screening, interview arrangement, offer negotiations, closing, and candidate relationship management.
- Effective relationships with agency partners and strong sourcing capabilities in both agency and corporate environments.
- Native Japanese language proficiency and fluent or business-level English.

- Previous experience within an end-to-end talent acquisition role where you have sourced candidates across various business functions using multiple channels.
- Proactive self-management skills, ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships, and deliver exceptional candidate experiences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to position yourself as a subject matter expert and be open to receiving feedback.
