Job Description
We are seeking an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical or electrical/electronic engineering to join our team at the Hikari Plant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing projects related to the installation, modification, and maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, including equipment specification, budgeting, purchasing, construction, commissioning, and qualification.
You will work closely with stakeholders to identify project requirements and collaborate with external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise and support to ensure the smooth operation of production processes.

What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: ¥540,000 - ¥620,000 per month (depending on experience)
- Annual Salary Increase: 3% increase annually
- Bonus Payments: twice a year (December and June)
- Allowances: commutation, housing, overtime work, etc.
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical or electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent knowledge
- Technical knowledge of chemical/biotech plant equipment, production machinery equipment, electrical, electrical controls, automation systems, material handling equipment/systems, clean room equipment, etc.
- 5-10 years of experience in a design role in a manufacturing environment such as pharmaceutical manufacturing, food, cosmetics, chemical products, etc.
- Experience in engineering and maintenance work in a chemical plant or in modifying or installing new automated automation and packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment
