About the Department
The Hikari Plant is Takeda's main production factory located in Hikari City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. It plays a crucial role as a key plant in our global supply network, with products shipped not only domestically but also globally.
The Sterile Manufacturing Department is responsible for manufacturing injectable products and process support functions, including the production of high-quality products (parenteral solutions, dual-chamber syringes), continuous process improvement, and setting up new manufacturing lines.
This Production Support role will work closely with manufacturing engineers to improve processes, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive efficiency improvements.
Job Responsibilities
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the following tasks related to injectable product manufacturing:
- Setting up manufacturing conditions, qualifying equipment, and creating technical documents
- Continuous process improvement
- Compliance inspections
- Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and providing training
- Designing and setting up new equipment and processes
- Driving the implementation of digital technologies to optimize processes
Requirements
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong background in engineering or a related field. Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Injectable product manufacturing operations
- Validation and qualification of equipment and facilities
- Conducting inspections and audits
- Document management, change control, and process improvement
Candidates should also be proficient in English language communication.

- Working Hours: Headquarters (Osaka/Tokyo) 9:00-17:30, Production Sites (Osaka/Yamaguchi) 8:00-16:45, (Narita) 8:30-17:15, Research Site (Kanagawa) 9:00-17:45
- Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, May Day, Year-End Holidays etc. (approx. 123 days in a year)
