【Department Introduction】

The Engineering Department at the Hikari Factory (Yamaguchi Prefecture) is responsible for owner's engineering services (engineering services from the company's standpoint) related to the facilities (architecture, machinery, air conditioning, piping, electricity, and instrumentation) of the pharmaceutical manufacturing plants.

【Job Content】

You will be involved in the following tasks regarding the manufacturing equipment of medicinal products and vaccines:

• Preventive maintenance in accordance with the operation manual

• Instruction, management, and supervision of entrusted maintenance service providers

• Review of reports and records

• Ensure adequate safety measures are taken during maintenance and repair work

• Maintenance and repair of equipment during trouble times

【Essential Requirements】

• Experience in preventive maintenance of production equipment mechanical and electrical systems

• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing

• Experience in evaluating and implementing adequate safety measures on the job site

【Desirable Requirements】

• Experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment or chemical plant equipment

• Experience with DCS

• Expertise in machine and electrical control, PLC

• Knowledge of GMP

• Working Hours: Headquarters (Osaka/Tokyo) 9:00-17:30, Production Sites (Osaka/Yamaguchi) 8:00-16:45, (Narita) 8:30-17:15, Research Site (Kanagawa) 9:00-17:45
