Purpose of the role
Manage Regional Learning and Development (L&D) across the APAC region, creating and implementing an effective L&D strategy, and ensuring alignment with the global Talent and Learning strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understand global learning mandate and plan regional learning interventions for synergistic business outcomes.
- Manage regional learning budget for leadership and management skills development.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders.
- Work with regional business units to develop leadership and management skills learning solutions.
- Provide guidance to country-level counterparts on implementing learning solutions and governance frameworks.
- Contribute to the development of Global Learning and Development solutions and ensure regional roll-out is aligned with global directions.
- Consult with regional HR Business Partners to understand organizational performance and people development agenda.
- Manage, develop, and reward direct reports.
- Support, coach, and guide team members on solving complex issues.
- Proactively implement L&D initiatives, including identifying learning needs, developing solutions, and managing training programs.
- Deliver leadership and management skills learning solutions and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Build a robust L&D framework and review L&D-related policies.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Learning and Development.
- Regional experience.
- Experience in project management and consulting.
- Bachelor's degree qualified.
- Certification in Org. Development, Culture instruments, or psychometrics preferred.
- Strong presentation and program facilitation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong influencing and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and design methodologies.
