Department Overview

The Drone Business Section of the Unmanned Solution Department is developing businesses that utilize drones. These include building facade inspections, solar panel inspections, and aerial photography using drones, as well as aircraft sales.

We also operate the "Rakuten Drone Academy" to train drone pilots and provide the "Rakuten Drone Gateway," which introduces drone pilots to job requests from companies and individuals.

Position Details


We are seeking a corporate sales representative for the Drone Business Section of the Unmanned Solution Department to promote our drone-based services.


You will propose services such as drone-based building facade inspections, solar panel inspections, aerial photography, and drone pilot training to customers who need them, delivering the unique value that drones provide.

Responsibilities Include


Sales activities targeting new customers (including creating target company lists, making calls / contacting via forms, conducting business negotiations, submitting quotations, concluding contracts, and coordinating schedules).

Sales activities aimed at acquiring repeat business from existing customers (including continuous communication with customers, understanding and uncovering their needs, and proposing services beyond past contract projects).

Sharing knowledge with internal sales team members and related parties.

Mandatory Qualifications

Experience in corporate sales
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Native - level Japanese language skills

Desired Qualifications

Experience using Salesforce
Experience using drones
