Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Scrum Master
with bilingual proficiency in
English and Japanese
and a strong background in the
life insurance industry
. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile practices across cross functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of high quality solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize backlogs effectively.
- Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure alignment between development teams and life insurance business stakeholders.
- Utilize tools like JIRA, Confluence, and PowerBI for tracking and reporting.
- Communicate effectively in both languages to bridge gaps between global teams and clients.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese.
- Scrum Master certification (SAFe Scrum Master, PSM, or equivalent).
- Experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Rally, etc.).
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks (Leading SAFe).
- Prior experience working with distributed or multicultural teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the insurance sector.
