Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service to Amazon's Selling Partners? The Amazon Marketplace Fashion team seeks to improve the customer and Selling Partner experience on Amazon by working directly with Selling Partners to enhance value, selection, and convenience across their business. Our team will innovate and invent across technology, processes, and people to grow the program, boost seller engagement, and satisfaction, and enable scalable global solutions.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketplace Account Manager to develop our Tier I Selling Partners and help rapidly grow our Fashion business area. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with Large Enterprise Selling Partners to assist them in growing their business on Amazon's JP Marketplace, providing support on launching new programs, exploring Amazon's marketing tools, advising on account strategy, and selecting listings. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a key growth program in Amazon's JP marketplace.
Given the fast-growing stage of the Fashion team, you will also be responsible for developing processes, tools, and content for this new service.
The ideal candidate will have strong sales and/or marketing skills, a track record of using data and tools to drive business growth, make informed hiring decisions, and be comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment due to the fast-growing nature of the Fashion business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 4+ years' experience in business roles requiring negotiation with external partners (e.g., sales/account management/business consulting)
- Analytical skills with Microsoft Excel (e.g., vlookup, pivot) and BI tool experience
- Fluent Japanese language skills, both verbal and written
- Business-level English language skills, both verbal and written
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of client or vendor-facing roles with a focus on relationship management and negotiation skills
- Experience aggregating and analyzing internal and external campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify insights
