Tokyo Amazon Japan G.K. Full time
Amazon’s Softlines team seeks to improve the customer and Selling Partner experience on Amazon by working directly with Selling Partners to improve value, selection and convenience across their business. Our team will invent and innovate across technology, processes and people to grow the program, improve seller engagement and satisfaction and enable scalable global solutions.

The Snr. Key Account Manager is responsible for working with a group of Large Enterprise Selling Partners to help them grow their business on Amazon’s JP Marketplace, offering support on launching on new programs, exploring Amazon’s marketing tools, advising on account strategy and selection listing. This is an opportunity to shape a key growth program in Amazon’s JP marketplace.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable influencing senior external stakeholders, have strong sales and/or marketing skills, track record of using data and tools to drive business growth, make right hire decisions, and be comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment given the fast growing stage of Softlines business.

Key responsibilities include:

* Developing processes, tools and content for the new service

* Working with a group of Large Enterprise Selling Partners to help them grow their business on Amazon’s JP Marketplace

* Offering support on launching on new programs, exploring Amazon’s marketing tools, advising on account strategy and selection listing

* Shaping a key growth program in Amazon’s JP marketplace

* Developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and improve seller engagement and satisfaction

* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities and drive results

* Analyzing data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior external stakeholders, including Selling Partners and Amazon leadership

* Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including written and verbal communication

* Providing coaching and guidance to junior team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge

* Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the team is always innovating and improving

* Collaborating with other teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities and drive results

* Analyzing data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior external stakeholders, including Selling Partners and Amazon leadership

* Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including written and verbal communication

* Providing coaching and guidance to junior team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge

* Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the team is always innovating and improving

The ideal candidate will have:

* 5+ years of account or relationship management, small business logistics, or retail/vendor/supplier management experience

* Strong analytical skills, including Microsoft Excel

* Proven ability to successfully influence at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level

* Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach

* A passion for developing an engaging customer user experience with demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements

* Superior communication and presentation skills

* Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment

* High level English skills within speaking, writing and reading (Need to attend the meeting held, lead discussions, and write documents in English)
