Account Manager for Amazon Sellers

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team in Japan. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth for new sellers on Amazon.co.jp, specifically those selling Softlines (SL) products such as apparel, shoes, bags, watches, and jewelry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Amazon marketplace, sales data analysis, and customer needs. You will work closely with our seller community to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to maximize their sales potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth for assigned sellers.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with sellers to understand their business needs and provide actionable insights to improve their sales performance.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales growth and success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in business roles requiring negotiation with external parties, such as sales/account management/business consulting/inside sales/marketing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI tools, with experience in data analysis and visualization.
  • Fluent Japanese and English language skills, both written and verbal.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of client- or vendor-facing roles with a focus on relationship management and negotiation skills experience.
  • Experience aggregating and analyzing internal and external campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify insights.
