Tokyo Amazon Japan G.K. Full time

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Product Marketing Manager to design marketing solutions for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) in the Japanese market. This role involves creating strategies to enhance seller communications, audience targeting, open/conversion rates, and ensuring consistency in the structure and tone of our communications in line with global guidelines. The primary responsibilities include increasing launches, feature adoption, and opportunity awareness for sellers on Amazon throughout the customer journey. You will be expected to proactively align with global teams to ensure sellers understand the value proposition, key features, and processes for sellers in the Japanese market, developing a clear communication strategy that targets specific behaviors through a one-to-many communication approach. This role will be measured through adoption targets, tracking and analyzing metrics such as launches, engagement, and feature adoption, while optimizing performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. You will be required to think analytically and problem-solve in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple and often conflicting priorities. You will communicate with peers in similar roles as well as cross-functionally, both domestically and internationally. Success in this role requires thriving in an ambiguous environment where you must develop, implement, and iterate on business strategies to deliver growth and positive experiences for sellers. Being hands-on, detail-oriented, and possessing relentlessly high standards are essential qualities for this position. Key job responsibilities include creating marketing plans to effectively communicate with and bring on new sellers to the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) program, gathering and adapting best practices globally to bring multiple sellers smoothly transition from registering to launching as FBA sellers, overseeing all aspects of marketing campaigns, developing marketing and communication strategies, and prioritizing and balancing needs across seller experience, performance, and operational workload. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS include 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience, experience using data and metrics to drive improvements, experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data, experience with Excel or Tableau, experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs, and Japanese and English language proficiency. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS include experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs, experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM, experience in marketing or marketing research, and experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis.
