Responsibilities
As a Sr.
Sales Solution Architect, your main responsibilities (not exhaustive and subject to change based on company needs) will include:
Evangelizing, demonstrating, and proving the capabilities of HERE Location Platform and HERE Technical Assets in web, mobile, and embedded vehicle applications.
Designing and crafting solutions that will deliver against identified customer requirements and associated problem definition, including preparation of storyboard and UX integrated with both client and HERE assets.
Collaborating with the Sales team in addressing Customer challenges, providing solutions, and outline in solution roadmaps; responding to RFXs; rolling up your sleeves to perform hands-on coding for developing demos and PoCs to showcase HERE Technologies' location-based capabilities; and actively removing technical and competitive blockers to facilitate sales.
Understanding and articulating how our technical assets contribute to offerings proposed to the customer and to the overall value proposition.
Developing implementation plans for taking projects from a conceptual phase to full-scale production.Providing direct technical expertise for opportunities in one or multiple domains of knowledge
Providing feedback to sales, product marketing, and product management on current and future product requirements & enhancements.
Helping our partners to succeed by providing them with technical presales support, joint go- to-market with the partners and providing them with technical enablement.
Participating in the company's marketing events, seminars and technical workshops.Developing and communicating project specifications/progress and maintaining ongoing dialogue, including escalations, when appropriate to management and product development teams.
Who are you?
You will be successful in this role if you possess the following skills and competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
10+ years of relevant technical experience of which 6+ years in technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or similar roles focussed on the Automotive industry.
Software development experience in Java, Python, Scala and scripting.Proven customer facing skills and a consistent track record in major account management.
Previous experience in crafting and delivering large-scale software solutions to market.
Technical application solution selling experience with Cloud applications, services and APIs.
Understanding of Automotive industry and Automotive's ecosystem technologies such as ADAS, Autonomous Driving, ISA, Navigation, and Software Defined Vehicles.
You are a team player and have a passion for collaboration with various internal/external stakeholders.
Ability to work as a trusted advisor to our customers.
Knowledge of GIS and understanding of Map Making would be nice to have.
Knowledge of Android and iOS mobile operating systems and development.
Good communication skills in English and native level fluency in Japanese (spoken and written).
Exposure to working in AWS, Azure or any other major cloud environments is a plus.

The HERE Business & Solution Architecture team helps and enables our direct and indirect sales teams on the technical aspects of bids and pursuits.
This team takes primary responsibility for working on the technical aspects of RFPs, RFQs, Demos, POCs, technical workshop/seminars, technical enablement and related technical presales activities.
