About the RoleSignant Health is seeking a Clinical Endpoint Quality Specialist to support the quality, consistency, and reliability of psychiatric and cognitive endpoint data for clinical trials conducted in Japan.
This role focuses on clinical endpoint quality review, rater calibration, and investigator remediation to ensure high-quality, reliable clinical trial data.
Given the highly specialized nature of endpoint expertise in the Japanese market, Signant Health offers flexible engagement models, including full-time, part-time, or contract arrangements.
You will work closely with global and Japan-based Clinical Science teams, investigators, and raters to support endpoint quality standards and ensure consistency across studies.
What You Will DoConduct all activities in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Signant Health quality standards
Review and evaluate psychiatric and/or cognitive endpoint data submitted through rater training, interview skills, and endpoint reliability programs
Perform independent review and scoring of endpoint assessments using submitted audio and/or video files, as applicable
Provide clear, timely feedback and remediation to investigators and raters via email and phone
Ensure consistency and quality in endpoint review and remediation processes in collaboration with study teams and stakeholders
Proactively identify, document, and escalate potential endpoint data quality risks
Build strong working relationships with Japanese investigational sites and raters to support ongoing calibration and quality standards
Contribute to the oversight of internal, external, or affiliated endpoint reviewers as needed

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Psychiatry, or a related healthcare field
Hands-on experience administering, scoring, or reviewing psychiatric and/or cognitive assessment scales in a clinical trial or research setting
Experience providing corrective feedback or remediation to clinicians or raters
Fluency in Japanese and professional working proficiency in English
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and clinical judgment
Ability to work independently in a remote, virtual environment with global teams
Desired Qualifications
Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD), MD, or equivalent advanced qualification
Experience as a clinical trial rater, endpoint reviewer, or affiliated/dispatch rater in Japan
Familiarity with rater calibration, endpoint reliability, or quality review programs
Experience supporting Japan-only or Japan-focused clinical studies
