The role develops and delivers detailed technology solutions through consulting project activities. Responsibilities include client identification through final invoicing for engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment. Performance is typically evaluated based on utilization, billable hours. Project management activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring. May have some financial responsibilities including project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing. May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities. Identifies additional product/service opportunities in customer organization. Performance is typically measured by the capture of the consulting engagement and/or delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.
Our mission is to promote our customers' digital transformation (DX) through consulting project activities and achieve results together. We identify and extract our customers' issues and potential issues, decide on the direction of DX promotion, and incorporate each DX Solution design. We cover implementation, operation, and PDCA together with our customers. Additionally, we also perform project management, including communication with our customers' managers and monitoring of costs and schedules.
Our consultants' performance is evaluated using two methods:
1. Utilization (billable hours per week)
2. Quantitative and qualitative results
Examples of results include achievements with our customers, service proposal activities and winning, account management contributions, customer case studies and information dissemination, and department initiatives.
As a business consultant participating in projects, the role may vary depending on the case requirements. One role is to describe and create an implementation plan for our customers' digital customer experience strategy. The other role is to support the execution phase of digital customer experience, from strategy formulation to technical implementation. Our customers' contract content determines which of the two roles you will perform, and you will have opportunities to grow as a consultant who can respond to both roles.
As a business consultant at Adobe, you will have various roles, but you will need to have the following consulting skills, common to all roles:
• Measuring and calculating the impact on our customers' business
• Defining our customers' business requirements for introducing Adobe DX Solution
• Defining and designing customer experience (CX)
• Designing and implementing Adobe DX Solution
• Proposing marketing heightening based on the results of DX strategy implementation
• Managing projects according to our customers' request changes
