We are looking for a Talent Manager to develop and implement strategies to help develop our employees.
You will be responsible for all aspects of talent management, including the creation and execution of career development, strategic transfer and rotation plans, and succession plans for employees in line with the company's needs in a timely and accurate manner.

Global Environment
・Working with HR not only in Japan but also in overseas group companies, you will lead global Lead the global HR strategy in cooperation with the HR departments of group companies not only in Japan but also overseas. You will manage a wide range of stakeholders and promote large scale projects.
Rich career paths
The successful candidate will be based in the Group HR Department of Rakuten's Corporate Division at the Rakuten headquarters and will be responsible for the HR of the business units. The Group HR Department consists of various HR functions such as payroll, training, recruiting, HRBP, etc. Therefore, the successful candidate will have a variety of opportunities for PJT. Therefore, there is a lot of communication with other departments through various PJTs, and you will have opportunities to learn about the work of other departments. Position Details
By fulfilling the following work duties, you will engage in the planning, development, and management of human resource training programs for our employees.
- Design and operate job rotation and strategic personnel transfers
- Promote career development, and design and operate necessary systems and programs
- Design and operate leadership development
- Break down challenging issues/missions that come down from CEO and executives and propose ideas/solutions to answer to request.
- Participate in designing and building systems related to talent management (collaboration with IT department and global HR)
Work Environment
The Talent Management Section of the Recruiting and Training Department is an organization of approximately 15 people working together on a
project basis.
Examples of programs in charge: Self Assessment Survey, operation of the internal learning portal, AI utilization projects, collaborative projects with overseas entities, etc.
There are programs not only for specific departments, but also for the entire company, and they vary in size.
In addition to the revision and operation of existing programs, there are also opportunities to be involved in planning on a 0⇒1 basis.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Experience in planning, implementation and operation of HR department in a business company (talent management area is a plus)
or equivalent experience in HR consulting firm or human resource development service company
- English proficiency at daily conversational level, fluent Japanese

- Experience in program design, implementation, and operation in the talent management area
- Experience in making proposals to and negotiating with executives
- Experience participating in global projects
- Business level English proficiency (approximate TOEIC score: 800)
