Business Overview
Finance & Accounting Division (FAD) of Rakuten Group, Inc. is responsible for the overall finance and accounting of Rakuten Group Inc. and the Rakuten Group as a whole.
Department Overview
The Internal Control Section is responsible for the financial and accounting functions of the Rakuten Group, including (i) the establishment of accounting governance, including internal controls and (ii) the establishment of accounting systems and processes, including accounting DX.
It is an important mission to present a vision for the DX of the financial and accounting processes and the governance structure of the Rakuten Group as a whole and to build up the future financial accounting organization.

Position Details
A central role in one (or more) of the following areas of work
Accounting governance development.
Lead the establishment of accounting governance in domestic and international subsidiaries and in each business. Establish fraud detection processes using data analysis.
Accounting systems & processes
Develop and implement strategies for overall finance and accounting DX. Realization of more effective use of accounting data across departments. Implementation of accounting systems in subsidiaries.

Mandatory Qualifications
- At least three years' experience in an accounting-related role in a business or consulting firm
- A desire to grow as an accounting professional
- Able to think independently and proactively promote the work
- Business-level English and Japanese language skills
Desired Qualifications
- More in-depth accounting-related experience in a business company or consulting firm
- Experience in leading organizations and projects
- Expertise in areas such as financial accounting, internal controls and accounting systems
