One of our clients is seeking talented and experienced
Back-end Developers
with a strong background in
Java
Development
and 5+ years of experience. This role is perfect for those who thrive on designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs.
*Must be residing in Japan
Generally you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing and maintaining backend systems and API
- Being able to lead/mentor a team of developers
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and security.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage development tasks and projects to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Requirements:
- Java/Spring 5+ years of experience
- Experience in developing web systems, including RESTful API design and development
- Proficient in SQL databases, particularly MySQL or Oracle
- Strong understanding of design patterns, software architecture, and agile methodologies.
- Either experience with Payment Systems/Payment Gateway OR Sr. (7 years) of experience with Java/Spring.
Language Requirements
: English (Business+) - you need strong communication skills.
Alternatively
(a plus, not mandatory):
- Fullstack engineer (Java/Spring + Front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Experience in CI/CD (Jenkins), Docker and Kubernetes, Git/SVN.
- Experience with performance, stress, and load testing.
- Knowledge of system scalability and sustainability
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
