職務内容

主な職務内容と責任

スクラムチーム内で、要求される品質指標に基づき製品ビジョンを成功裏、かつ期日通りに実現する。主要なステークホルダーとのコミュニケーションを確保し、進捗状況を報告するとともに、ユーザーストーリーを通じてバックログへの変更要求を管理し、必要に応じて計画を調整する。

証券処理グループおよびプロダクトマネジメントチームが定義した製品ビジョンを実行する
ソフトウェア開発ライフサイクル全体を通じて、プロダクトマネジメントおよび開発チームと緊密に連携し、開発イニシアチブの成功を確保する
健全かつ最新の作業パイプラインを維持するため、バックログを管理する
スクラムマスターおよびプロダクトマネージャーと連携し、作業項目の優先順位付けを行う
開発プロジェクトにおけるビジネス要件のトレーサビリティを確保する(スコープ定義および設計を含む)
規制関連および業界イニシアチブを含む、クロスファンクショナルな製品強化のため、他プロダクトマネージャーと連携する

学歴要件

ビジネスまたは関連分野の学士号 (Bachelor's Degree)

一般知識・スキル・能力

日本の金融サービス業界におけるプロダクトオーナーとして5年以上の経験(証券会社におけるバックオフィス業務またはブローカーディーラー業務での経験が望ましい)

株式・債券分野における確かな知識を有し、国内・非居住者フロー双方におけるバックオフィス機能に焦点を当てた、様々な日本市場インフラ・システム(例:
JASDEC(PSMS、BETS)、JSCC、BOJ)に関する実務経験

アジャイル手法の知識と実践経験
業務優先順位に関してチームを管理・影響力を行使できる実証済み能力
優れたプレゼンテーション能力及び製品デモンストレーションスキル
優れた分析力と組織力
複数の優先事項を管理する能力

About The Role

FIS Post Trading Platform (PTP), formerly known as Torstone has a significant planned roadmap of change both in terms of large-scale targeted Product enhancements across multiple regions and maintenance of existing functionality.

We seek an experienced securities processing Product Owner to work within an Agile framework for this modern real-time event driven securities back-office platform.

What You Will Be Doing

To work within the scrum team to drive the successful and timely delivery of product vision within the required quality metrics.

Ensure communication with key stakeholders to provide progress updates and manage change requests to the backlog via user stories and adjust planning as required.

Executes product vision as defined by the Securities Processing Group & Product Management team
Work closely with Product Management and development teams throughout the software development life cycle to ensure success of development initiatives
Manages work backlog to maintain a healthy and updated pipeline of work
Prioritizes the work items in coordination with Scrum master and Product Manager
Ensures the traceability of business requirements for development projects, including scope definition and design
Collaborate with other Product Managers for cross-functional product enhancements, including regulatory and industry initiatives
Provide updates on product roadmap and enhancements, including regulatory and industry initiatives
Work alongside Product Manager to review development priorities, User stories definition
Contribute to testing and managing products through initial launch and subsequent releases
Provide internal and external training for new products and features
Work with professional services and Implementations team as needed
Participate in Feature Reviews for new and existing clients

What You Will Need

Bachelor's degree in business or related field
5+ years of experience in the Japanese financial services industry, as a product owner, preferably in back-office securities operations or broker-dealer operations

Proven knowledge in the Equities and Fixed Income domain with different Japanese market infrastructures and facilities with a focus on back-office functions.

e.g. JASDEC (PSMS, BETS), JSCC, BOJ for both Domestic and Non-residents flows
Knowledge and practice of Agile Methodology
Demonstrated ability to manage and influence teams in terms of work priorities
Strong presentation and product demonstration skills
Strong analytical and organization skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Proven ability to manage projects and deliver within specified deadlines following a defined software development lifecycle
Ability to see and understand the "big picture" and to translate strategic business objectives into tactical steps
Must be responsible, dedicated, self-motivated and dependable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese; ability to produce high quality, detailed requirements and specification documents
Experience in interacting with Clients, upper management and senior leadership
Strong interpersonal skills

Added Bonus If You Have

Experience with different Asian market infrastructures and facilities with a focus on back-office functions
Knowledge of other domain areas e.g. Cash management, Collateral management, Securities financing or Corporate Actions
General understanding of user experience constructs
Knowledge of messaging protocols including SWIFT ISO MT/MX, FIX, Bloomberg XML
Knowledge of Central counterparty flows and processes
Knowledge of European and North American Settlement flows
