Mission of the Role:

The leader in this role orchestrates the development of market driven cutting-edge, interconnected in-car cockpit experiences, seamlessly integrating advanced technologies while prioritizing safety, sustainability to drive growth in Visteon's market share of ADAS portfolio.

Key objectives of this Role Technology Roadmap and Strategic Product Planning:


Co-develop a market-driven product strategy and work closely with engineering teams to execute the strategy and engage customers, achieving a leadership position in the industry.

Communicate product strategy and roadmap with clarity and purpose to all internal and external stakeholders.
Execute planned product roadmap based on customer challenges, market trends, and technological advancements.

Bridge the gap between business objectives and technological innovation, facilitating the creation of differentiated ADAS products from concept to launch.


Product Lifecycle Management:


Collaborate with product teams, cross-functional partners, and external vendors to define MRDs (Market Requirement Document) and GTM (Go-To-Market) strategies for next-gen products, ensuring seamless module builds, co-development of high-precision components, and system integration.

Translate MRDs into actionable Product Requirements Documents (PRD) and evangelize products to internal and external stakeholders.
Lead the definition and execution of proof-of-concept projects as required to develop innovative technical solutions for the products.


Market Analysis and Innovation:
Stay ahead in the industry by analyzing product direction and competition, anticipating product opportunities.
Shape product vision, assess market fit, and establish a compelling product value proposition and product pricing strategy.
Develop and drive hardware engineering best practices, including predictive modeling, rigorous data-driven validation, and manufacturability considerations.
Spearhead the creation of ADAS product architecture, analysis, and modeling, providing strategic technical recommendations to leadership.
Drive innovation in both engineering and marketing of products to help improve Visteon's brand recognition.

Customer Engagement and Cost Management:


Cultivate relationships with key OEMs, existing customers, decision-makers, and ecosystem partners to proactively understand their problems, requirements and explain Visteon's product strategy and capability.

Anticipate & prioritize customer requirements, integrating them into ongoing product development efforts, and surpassing rising expectations.
Lead the preparation of technical quotations, input costs, and customer presentations while focusing on achieving favorable commercial outcomes.
Develop business plans, including new models, to adapt to changing value chains and ecosystems.
Ensure maximal product and platform reuse in customer quotations to drive efficiency and profitability.

Assist in defining and managing Bill of Materials (BOM) cost targets and maintain a comprehensive database for assigned product lines.

Work closely with sales and customer business groups to provide detailed product & technology knowledge, competitive insight, and pricing assistance necessary to win business at key accounts and grow share.


Team Leadership and Management:
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team dedicated to creating advanced ADAS modules and systems. Guide them through complete product development lifecycle, from ideation to scalable hardware deployment.
Provide visionary leadership, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team. Develop an organization that is always challenging itself to raise the bar.

Key Year One Deliverables:
Evaluate and build a highly capably and performing team.
Analyze the current ecosystem and identify gaps.
Set targets to grow market share: Generate RFI along with sales, work on RFQs, and ultimately win business.
Identify technology roadmap and identify investment priorities.

Improved CSAT Scores.


Qualification, Experience, and Skills:
Engineering degree in software electronics or equivalent degree with similar technology focus.
Deep understanding of ADAS market, products, competitive landscape, ecosystem trends implications, and product line pricing.
Demonstrated technical prowess around software, software capabilities, chip suppliers and broader semiconductor market.
Knowledge of key technologies and trends relevant to ADAS features and functions.
Broad perspectives derived from both technical expertise and business/commercial acumen.
Demonstrated experience in leading high performing teams and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment in a matrixed organization.
Global product leadership experience in similar size or larger organization.
