About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong experience in and WebGL to design and implement 3D interactive web experiences. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to build immersive, high-performance applications used by global customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain 3D web experiences using , WebGL, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Collaborate with designers to translate 3D concepts, storyboards, and motion designs into interactive, production-ready experiences.
- Implement interactive UI/UX elements (camera controls, user input, animations, transitions) for web-based 3D scenes.
- Optimize rendering performance for desktop and mobile browsers (frame rate, loading time, asset size).
- Integrate 3D frontends with backend APIs and data sources.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Work in an international, cross-functional team, following agile practices (sprint planning, demos, retrospectives).
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with and/or raw WebGL in production projects.
- Experience building interactive 3D content (e.g. product configurators, 3D data visualizations, games, or immersive websites).
- Familiarity with performance optimization in 3D rendering (materials, lights, shadows, draw calls, textures, asset pipelines).
- Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (e.g. React, Vue, or Svelte).
- Comfortable working in English (written and spoken) in a multicultural team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React Three Fiber or other 3D abstractions on top of
- Knowledge of GLTF, FBX, or other 3D formats and typical 3D pipelines (Blender, Maya, etc.).
- Background in computer graphics, game development, or interactive media.
- Experience with WebXR, VR/AR, or immersive experiences.
- Understanding of UI/UX best practices for 3D interaction.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud environments.
