Senior Computer Vision Engineer (3D Perception & Geometry)

At Mobispace Co., Ltd., we are developing cutting-edge AI solutions to revolutionize the construction and engineering industries. We're seeking an expert in 3D computer vision to join our core team and build systems that can interpret and measure the physical world with high precision.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing the core algorithms that allow us to reconstruct and analyze complex, real-world scenes from video and sensor data. This is a chance to solve challenging geometric problems and see your work have a direct impact on large-scale physical infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement robust computer vision algorithms for 3D scene understanding, camera pose estimation, and high-precision measurement
- Solve complex problems related to multi-view geometry, camera calibration, and perspective correction in unstructured, real-world environments
- Develop and apply techniques from SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), SfM (Structure from Motion), and visual-inertial odometry to track camera movement and build geometric models
- Deploy perception systems that are resilient to real-world challenges like variable lighting, motion blur, and sensor noise
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in computer vision, with a strong focus on 3D geometry (M.S. or Ph.D. in CS, Robotics, or related field is highly preferred)
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and core libraries such as OpenCV, NumPy, and SciPy
- Deep, theoretical understanding of classical computer vision concepts: epipolar geometry, homography, camera models (intrinsic/extrinsic), and projective geometry
- Proven, hands-on experience building or working with SLAM, SfM, or visual odometry systems
- Experience processing and analyzing data from real-world sensors (e.g., cameras, IMUs) to solve tangible problems
Bonus Points
- Experience with sensor fusion (e.g., camera + IMU)
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) for tasks like object detection or segmentation
- Experience in robotics, AR/VR, or autonomous navigation
