Responsibilities
Mission Statement & Core Functions:
The candidate will be part of the Structuring team within SG Global Markets. More specifically they will work on the Cross-Asset and Fixed Income solution structuring. Position based in Tokyo.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Participate to complex deals origination in a partnership with sales teams.
- Produce structured rates and structured credit documentation and sales pushes
- Build a sustainable partnership with Japanese sales to cover all client segments: Distribution, Institutional and Corporates
- Participate to the marketing effort by accompanying XAS sales and pitching FIC structured products to clients
- Ensure smooth operational delivery of third party issuances for institutional clients in Japan
- Deliver products in an accurate and timely manner, with special attention to risks constraints and regulatory costs
- Organize the products pushes to educate and market Société Générale offering internally and externally.
- Liaise and negotiate with Trading and offshore Structuring teams to design suitable solutions.
- Work in collaboration with all stakeholders and partners such as R&D/Middle Office/Legal/ IT teams

Key Skill Areas & knowledge Required:
- Experience in Solutions Structuring with some Fixed Income exposure within a large bank
- Strong academic background
- Solid knowledge of Fixed Income markets, and experience with SPV issuances
- Knowledge of Japanese financial institutions ALM & hedging needs
- Solid communication skills
- Solutions mindset and result oriented
- Exhibit positive attitude and capacity to adapt and build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Eager to grow and to have an impact
- Mandatory English and Japanese language skills
