This position is responsible for the
Setup
process for the SureSmile Digital Lab in Costa Rica.
Key Responsibilities
- Link 3D models to images and X-rays, apply tooth feature points and ship 3D models to practices for review.
- Produce orthodontic set-up's digitally for treatment with fixed appliances, using proprietary software.
- Inspect incoming set-up request regarding feasibility and consistency.
- Set-up the teeth according to the request of the clinician and MACROS instructions.
- Check and correct the design of the arch wires that are created digitally before bending them physically.
- Meet and exceed all minimum production requirements designated by the Digital Lab Manager.
- Maintain and renew all Digital Lab certifications annually.
- Other duties and responsibilities not specifically described may be assigned from time to time at supervisor's discretion.
Typical Background
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in orthodontic or dental office mandatory or comparable skills.
- Knowledge of teeth, their function, and occlusion.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to be receptive to constructive feedback.
- Ability to learn from mistakes.
- Can solve small-medium sized problems independently and can contribute to solving larger problems as a team.
