Greater Tokyo Area ASICS

We are on a mission to deliver an unparalleled consumer experience across all ASICS-branded and third-party digital channels—meeting consumers wherever they choose to engage with our brand. Digital marketplaces are a critical extension of that mission, bringing the ASICS brand to life beyond our owned eCommerce platforms while maintaining the same standards of quality, authenticity, and service.

Marketplace Management plays an essential role in supporting ASICS' global marketplace operations, focusing on brand enforcement, integrity, and the protection of our premium brand positioning. This position supports the company's global enforcement and marketplace governance initiatives through the monitoring, reporting, and analysis of authorized and unauthorized seller activity, as well as the coordination of enforcement actions in partnership with global and regional teams.

Reporting to the Director, Global Digital Business Strategy & Marketplace Management, this role will partner closely with internal teams—including Legal, Sales, Merchandising, Demand Generation, and Brand Protection—as well as external vendors and counsel to ensure ASICS' brand integrity and consumer experience are consistently protected across all global marketplaces.

Strategic Marketplace and eCommerce Expertise:
Deep understanding of global 3rd-party marketplace management, eCommerce operations, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) strategies, with a proven ability to drive premium brand positioning.

Brand Enforcement and Protection:
Strong knowledge of unauthorized seller management, pricing integrity, and brand protection policies to uphold brand standards across digital channels.

Data-Driven Decision Making:
Proficiency in data analysis, KPI development, and performance tracking to generate insights, refine strategies, and support data-informed decision-making.

Financial Acumen:
Strong financial skills with experience managing budgets, tracking sales performance, and achieving gross margin and operating income (OI) targets.

Global and Regional Alignment:
Ability to build and implement strategies that balance global brand objectives with regional market nuances and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Skilled in building collaborative relationships across HQ and regional teams, including legal, marketing, operations, and sales, to drive alignment and achieve shared goals.

Quality Control and Compliance:
Proficiency in implementing quality control and auditing programs for authorized sellers, ensuring compliance with brand standards and agreements.

Operational Efficiency and Integration:
Experience with operational efficiency improvements, including data quality, logistics optimization, and global/regional integration parameters.

Effective Communication:
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex strategies and performance updates to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Adaptability and Problem Solving:
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving digital landscapes, market conditions, and customer expectations.

Required skill

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in marketplace management, analytics, brand protection, or eCommerce operations.

Strong understanding of global marketplace environments (Amazon, Zalando, Tmall, etc.) and brand-protection principles.

Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and familiar with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Experience using monitoring or enforcement platforms (e.g., Vorys, Potoo, PriceSpider, ChannelAdvisor) preferred.

Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset and global orientation.
