Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance – Oversee HR policies, standards, payroll, HRIS, audits, reporting to HQ/Group, and HR budgeting for office and stores.
Employee Relations – Foster positive employer–employee relations, manage communication/feedback, resolve HR issues, and support retention and engagement.
Organization & Performance Management – Drive performance reviews, succession planning, compensation reviews, and organizational transformation aligned with business needs.
Training & Development – Design and implement training strategies for office and retail staff, including onboarding, induction, and continuous development programs.
QualificationsNative / Fluent Japanese language skills and permission to work in Japan required
Bachelor's degree or above
Business level English
HR Expertise: 5+ years of broad HR experience, preferably in a B2C environment.
Strategic Agility:
Ability to see the big picture, anticipate trends, and balance long-term vision with daily execution.
Problem Solving:
Proactive in identifying hidden issues and delivering timely, creative solutions.
Adaptability & Collaboration:
Skilled in managing change, resolving conflicts, and building effective relationships across the organization.
Salary
Company is considering candidates up to 11.5M+ JPY annual (client may consider higher salary based on candidate skills and experience)
