Position Details
Driving group-wide risk management activities. In our Risk Management Department, we focus on three main activities in our approach to risk management. This is an opportunity to develop your expertise as a specialist in risk management for a global company.
• Enterprise Risk Management (ERM): We collaborate with the diverse business units of the Rakuten Group to identify, report, and manage a wide range of risks.
• Incident Management: We are responsible for establishing management systems for incident management across the group, responding to incidents as they occur, and reporting to the executive team.
• Promotion of BCP/BCM structure and Crisis Response activities: We establish systems for business continuity or rapid recovery in various crises, such as natural disasters, and we are also responsible for initial responses when crises occur.
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Communication skills: coordination skills for negotiating with management and various other stakeholders, and teamwork skills to work within the department and with other departments.
• Basic PC skills (such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
• English ability: Ability to coordinate proposals for negotiations with native speakers of overseas business.
• Problem-solving skills: research, analysis, planning, documentation and presentation skills.
Desired Qualifications:
• Relevant work experience related to the position details mentioned above.
• Experience in project promotion (structuring, management, communication with internal and external stakeholders, etc.).
• Experience working in a global company is preferable.
