About this role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring restaurant standards, policies, and procedures are met by restaurant staff. They will prioritize and organize work assignments; delegate work; direct the performance of restaurant staff and follow up with corrections where needed; motivate restaurant staff and maintain a cohesive team; ascertain restaurant training needs and provide such training; be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems by exercising good judgment; focus attention on details; suggestively sell menu items, beverages, and wines; prepare revenue, covers, and payroll budgets and forecasts; plan and organize events and special promotions; input and measure labor management system (LMS) results; implement special promotion menus to increase covers outlets revenues, (gourmet coupons, JTB coupon, etc.); provide all necessary information to hold and implement restaurant weddings; implement and record actions to improve employee satisfaction (ESS trend forms); record all important information in monthly manager reports and event post-mortem documents.
Requirements:
3 years previous experience as Supervisor in Food & Beverage outlet; College education or equivalent experience; Previous employment experience in a similar position with other luxury Hotels will be an added advantage; Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems; Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in Japanese and English languages; Require a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job;
