In Room Dining Assistant Manager - Park Hyatt Kyoto

At Park Hyatt Kyoto, we are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic In Room Dining Assistant Manager to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is responsible for providing leadership and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction in an atmosphere of teamwork and high morale.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Business Administration or Hospitality/Tourism management, with a minimum of 2 years of progressive work experience in similar roles within luxury international properties. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, customer service orientation, problem-solving, and administrative skills are essential. Fluency in spoken and written English and Japanese is required, with additional language skills being an asset.

This role offers a competitive salary range of ¥5,000,000 - 7,000,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including training and development opportunities, to support your career growth and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular training sessions with the assigned team to ensure excellent service standards and product knowledge.
  • Prepare and issue duty schedules for the respective team.
  • Monitor service activities in the Room Service department to achieve highest possible customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Kitchen, Stewarding, Cashiers, and other key service departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with in-house guests, ensuring prompt and proper service to their rooms.
  • In-charge of the delivery and clearance of all guestroom amenities and conduct spot checks.
  • Ensure all Minibar operations are done promptly and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration or Hospitality/Tourism management.
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive work experience in similar roles within luxury international properties.
