Director of Revenue Management
An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Director of Revenue Management to be part of Fairmont Tokyo, the first Fairmont in Japan opening in 2025. Located on the upper floors of the South Tower of the Shibaura Project, Fairmont Tokyo offers easy access to business, culture, and well-being amenities as well as Haneda International Airport and Hamamatsucho Railway Station.
The property will offer 217 guest rooms including a range of suites, five restaurants and bars including 2 outdoor Terraces on level 35, a spa, fitness center, indoor swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, meeting rooms, banquet facilities, a sky chapel and a hotel boat to elevate the guest experience.
Job Summary:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Revenue Management is required to drive revenue generating initiatives to optimize top line revenues. The successful candidate will manage the revenue management department of the hotel, developing strategies to maximize hotel revenue contribution through all distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews pricing strategy established with the Group General Manager
- Ensures defined rate quoting strategy is in place for negotiated RFP season
- Maximizes hotel revenue contribution through all distribution channels
- Continuous analysis of changing channel distribution models and consumer booking trends
- Works with top line team to determine effective and engaging rate offers (packages)
- Sets up standards of operations in Revenue and Reservations departments
- Actively monitors competitive environment and elaborates revenue optimizing tactics and strategies
- Drives forecasting process for operating departments, identifies revenue potentials and supply and demand variables
- Assists Director of Sales with pricing and demand projects
- Reviews market trends and benchmarks against competition
- Closely monitors competitors for shift in demand, rate and strategy
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
