FP&A Manager (Individual Contributor)
As the FP&A Manager, you will be a strategic business partner overseeing financial analysis, performance management, budgeting, and forecasting for the Japan business.
This role interfaces directly with local management and global headquarters, supporting decision‑making in a fast‑growing, customer‑centric retail environment.Key Responsibilities:
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning for the Japan market.
Manage monthly financial performance reviews, variance analysis, and reporting packages.
Provide deep sales, margin, and expense analysis to support commercial and retail teams.
Support strategic projects such as new store openings, channel profitability, and cost optimization.
Ensure accurate consolidation and communication between Japan and global HQ.
Strengthen internal financial processes, tools, and KPI dashboards.
Your Skills
Fluent in Japanese and English (written and spoken).
Solid FP&A experience in a global company, preferably in a matrixed multinational environment.
Experience in FMCG or retail is a strong plus.
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and experience with financial systems/BI tools.
Ability to interpret data, influence stakeholders, and partner cross‑functionally.
Proactive communicator with a high attention to detail and business acumen.
